Route
Day 1 (Sunday) Granada
Welcoming the travellers to the AC Santa Paula Hotel in Granada at 10:00.
Visit to Granada and lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon welcome and accommodation on board the Al Andalus Train.
Dinner on board and overnight in Granada.
Day 2. (Monday) Granada – Linares/Baeza
After our first breakfast on board we go to the most visited monument in Spain, an exquisite palace complex built by the Nazari sovereigns of the Kingdom of Granada. (The visiting hours of the Alhambra may vary depending on the number of people in the group, languages and the authorisations of those in charge of the palace complex)
Lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon we will continue the tour of Granada.
Dinner on board as the train arrives in Linares-Baeza where we will spend the night.
Day 3. (Tuesday) Linares/Baeza – Úbeda – Córdoba
After breakfast we will visit Úbeda, a city that has been declared a World Heritage Site.
Visit an oil mill where olive oil is produced.
While we eat on board, the train will arrive in Cordoba.
Dinner in a restaurant and overnight in Cordoba.
Day 4. (Wednesday) Cordoba - Ronda
After breakfast on board, we will visit the Mosque-Cathedral and the historic center, and continue with the train to Ronda.
Lunch on board.
In the afternoon we will visit Ronda and the bullring.
Dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay in Ronda.
Day 5. (Thursday) Ronda - Jerez
While we have breakfast, the train reaches Jerez, and also see the show "How the Andalusian Horses Dance", a famous equestrian ballet with Spanish music.
Lunch in a restaurant in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and where we will visit a sherry wine cellar.
Dinner aboard the train.
Night in Jerez.
Day 6. (Friday) Jerez – Cádiz - Jerez
After breakfast, the bus takes us to Cádiz, popularly known as Tacita de Plata (little silver cup) and considered the oldest city in Western Europe.
Visit to the city of Cadiz and lunch in a restaurant in Puerto de Santamaría.
In the afternoon we will return to Jerez.
Dinner on board and farewell party.
Overnight in Jerez.
Day 7. (Saturday) Jerez - Seville
During our last breakfast we reach Seville, where we say goodbye to the train and its crew and go on a visit to Seville, which has the largest historic centre in Spain. It has been named a World Heritage City, and is home to a wealth of art and beautiful gardens.
