Reception on board the train in Oviedo and settling into the
berths. The day begins with a visit to Oviedo's historical centre
before setting off towards
the Picos de Europa region. Between mountains, lakes, and
small villages full of history, we will enjoy one of the most
evocative stages of the journey before returning to the train.
Dinner and overnight stay in Llanes.
While we have breakfast, the train will travel the final leg of the
journey to Bilbao, passing through some of the most
distinctive landscapes of northern Spain. Before saying goodbye to the
crew, we will visit the city and the Guggenheim Museum,
a symbol of
Bilbao's contemporary transformation. End of the journey.
While you enjoy breakfast, the train travels towards Cantabria along the Cantabrian coast. We will visit the Neo-Cave of Altamira and then Santillana del Mar, a medieval town of extraordinary historical and artistic value. After lunch, we will continue the journey to Santander, an elegant city open to the bay. Free time to enjoy the atmosphere before dinner. Overnight stay at the destination.
