Dates of departure from Santiago de Compostela:
Reception in Santiago de Compostela and an initial visit to its
historical centre, one of the greatest monumental sites
in Europe and a historic pilgrimage destination.
After lunch, we will travel to Ferrol, where
the train awaits. Welcome on board, presentation of the crew
, and settling into your suites as the railway journey
towards Viveiro begins. Dinner and night at the destination.
After breakfast, we will visit Ribadeo and some of the
most charming landscapes of the coast of Galicia, including
the area around Playa de las Catedrales beach. In the afternoon,
the journey will continue towards Asturias, following the coast of Cantabria, up to
Luarca, the elegant White Town of the Costa Verde.
Free time, dinner on board and overnight stay at the destination.
While we enjoy breakfast on board, the train travels along the Lugo coastline, passing estuaries, cliffs and small Atlantic ports, before arriving at Ribadeo. The day will allow us to explore the natural surroundings of Oscos-Eo and Taramundi, where tradition, landscape, and ethnographic heritage retain the authentic spirit of the north of the peninsula. After lunch and some free time, we will rejoin the train. Dinner and night's stay at Ribadeo.
During our final breakfast on board, we will arrive in Oviedo, where we will bid farewell to the train and its crew. Next, we will visit the Asturian capital before transferring to Gijón for the farewell lunch. End of the journey.
